desi–gned is New England's first publication for the South Asian diaspora. Issue 4 explores everyday materiality: the textures, rituals, sounds, objects, and sensory encounters that shape how we move through the world. As the Design Director, I led a 4-person design team to produce 400 bound copies, lingering on the ordinary through essays, visual work, conversations, and reflections culminating in a launch event where all copies were distributed to faculty and students of RISD and Brown University, as well as the wider New England community.
